A slice of joy: Celebrating 30 Years of Eco

Nestled in the heart of Clapham, we’ve been serving up slices of happiness to locals and visitors alike for three decades, so we decided it was time to celebrate!

We started off the celebrations by welcoming our cherished family, friends, staff and regulars for a night of good food and drinks. Long-time patrons shared stories of first dates, family dinners, and celebrations held within the familiar walls of the restaurant. Laughter and joy echoed through the night as the community came together to celebrate not just a restaurant but a shared history of love for good food and cherished moments. As the celebration reached its peak, heartfelt toasts were raised to honor our founders, Sami and Laura, and toast to the new generation who are keeping the passion alive.

As most of you know, for the month of October we offered our customers a taste of nostalgia by bringing back our original menu from 1993. So for part 2 of the celebrations we decided to turn back the clock on the prices as well, offering our pizzas at the original price from our opening year. Old and new customers flocked to Clapham High St to indulge in their favorite slices at prices that felt like a blast from the past. The night was a hit with customers lining up down the street to secure a table, and pizzas were flying out of the oven at record speed. We are so grateful to everyone who showed up and braved the queue in the rain to celebrate with us.

The milestone celebration was a testament to Sami and Laura, and the legacy they have created. So cheers to Eco, our customers, our staff and the enduring love for good food, great company, and the magic of the perfect slice.
